Volunteers

Hello all instrumental music families,

Much of the success behind the music program comes from the commitment of parents through the Booster organization, especially in time and energy.  We have plenty of opportunities for you to help with the programs.  Please review the descriptions below, and if something is of interest, please let our booster president  Lori Wildrick know.

Randy Boone, ops.mvhsmusic@gmail.com  VP Operations, Chair of Nominating Committee

Marching Band Committee members  accompany the Marching Band to events, including Home and Away Football Games and Competitions.   They help Uniform Manager as needed for fittings and other Uniform needs,  provide first aid to band members as needed • Organize Senior Recognition Night • Assist with organizing and maintaining the BOOSTER bin/bins • All of these duties likewise apply to second semester activities.  You do not have to be at every event but having you at most makes the most sense.

Hospitality committee members  provide food planning, prep and service to Marching Band and Color Guard members at activities including
marching band camp • ice cream social • marching band away competitions • away football games as needed • water at home football games • musicals •
Uniform Manager/committeeis responsible for all facets of the marching band uniform pre- and post-event preparation, fitting and maintenance • Have all band uniforms cleaned, inventoried, and ready for the next school year
We will provide necessary training for all of the above activities.  Being part of the “team” that helps make our Marching Band and Color Guard provide their best performance is fun and something the entire Band and CG greatly appreciate.
